It is with deep sorrow that we join Catholic Charities of North Louisiana in mourning the passing of Msgr. Earl Provenza, a beloved priest, faithful servant of God, and cherished member of the community. Msgr. Provenza dedicated his life to serving others with humility, compassion, and unwavering faith. His years of service on the Members Board reflected his profound commitment to charity, fellowship, and the mission of uplifting those most in need.
Msgr. Provenza was more than a supporter of Catholic Charities—he was a source of encouragement, joy, and inspiration to everyone privileged to know him. Whether volunteering his time to call a Bingo game, attending community gatherings, or offering words of kindness and wisdom, he brought warmth and light wherever he went. His joyful spirit and generous heart touched countless lives and strengthened the bonds of faith and compassion within the community.
Throughout his ministry, Msgr. Provenza exemplified the Gospel through acts of love, mercy, and selfless service. His legacy will live on in the many people he comforted, guided, and inspired over the years. While his passing leaves a profound sadness in our hearts, we also give thanks for the extraordinary example of faith and dedication he shared so freely with others.
